When I first met Chris and Jen I just fell in love with their laid-back, friendly personality! They contacted me a few months before their Arizona wedding and I was so glad to be chosen to be apart of it! They tied the knot at the Oasis Wild Horse Ranch on November 20th in Tucson, Arizona. The weather was very mild with a high in the low 80’s with very little humidity! It was a lovely break compared to the cooler weather back in Kentucky. We met up with Jen the morning of her wedding while everyone was getting ready. I worked on her detailed portraits using the local cacti and surroundings to really capture the landscape. (gotta watch out for those prickly pairs! Ouch!) The couple decided on a first look which was just absolutely perfect. Chris fought back tear when he saw Jen for the first time! We used the grounds of the venue for most of their portraits which was the perfect mix of desert landscapes, grassy areas, lush greens and concrete structures. Their colors were a beautiful bright navy blue and silver. Very classy. The ceremony was quaint with close family and friends. Chris and Jen chose to marry under a beautiful wooden gazebo. Jen’s grandfather walked her down the isle and Chris’s young son which was incorporated in their sand ceremony. So touching. The cocktail hour was on the back veranda while we took advantage of the stunning Arizona fiery sunset! We enjoyed a delicious gourmet meal and then danced the night away! What a perfect end to a beautiful day! Enjoy!
